Hey from Nicaragua! The extent of what I`ve seen of Nicaragua has been mostly from a bus window. I left this morning at around ten and arrived in Granada at around five thirty. So yes a long bus ride but got to watch two movies along the way;)
This morning I sent Emily and Jen off to catch their very early flight back to the states. We`ve enjoyed our travels together. It was complete with bathing in warm rivers, facing death in the form of tarzan swings, dancing, and surfing with some of Jen`s friends. I feel like I`ve been pampered the last few days because we got to stay in really nice condos that Jen`s friends own in Jaco. The family welcomed us in and included us in their daily trips to the beach- even though it required us to pile ten people into the car- which I`ve named the beast due to it`s ability to accomodate so many people and still run after not being driven for so long. Very fun though- and safe?
Now it is back to hostil living for a few more nights before I head back home. I`m enjoying my time but am looking foward to seeing friends and family back in California(and a good old mexican burrito). So as I itch my mosquito bitten feet I hope that those of you who are reading this are faring well, that work is not too hard, and that you find joy in what you are doing, and maybe I`ll see you when I get back!(so we can swap stories in person)
