S.N.O.W

We're back with toes, fingers, and faces intact.

I've been to the end of the world and back. At least that is what it feels like after 14 days of snow, quinzee building, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and no showers.

I am being immersed. Immersed into the elements of the wilderness. The whole experience includes learning how to snow camp, rock climb, backpack, canoe, and kayak. We're learning the hard skills of all these wonderful things from the perspective of being leaders.

Snow camping is completed. Here is some evidence of the happenings:

We skied up to the top of Little Round Top- you could see in all directions!

Lovely lift buddies. On the slopes of Kirkwood we were quite the telemark turning crew. Don't know what a telemark turn is? Picture down hill skiing with a free heal and lunges. It is absolutely beautiful. Telepalooza was epic at the end of the trip.

Evidence that it really did snow. At least once. We had wind. We had sunshine. It was great!
