Jaguire sighting. We were on our way back to our hostel in a taxi. Our driver was really friendly and we found out that his daughter was studying at the same university that we´re at. He then slowed down and started driving in reverse, saying something about a snake. We then passed something in the road that had been hit(not by us). he pulled over to the side and what we saw was a baby jaguire . It wasn´t moving at all so we knew that is was dead. It made me sad to see an animal killed like this:( Our taxi driver stepped out of the car and gently dragged the jaguire to the side of the road. I appreciated his small expression of kindness.
